Commanding Wealth From the Secret Place

"I have money I haven't even seen yet!" How many time had I said that humorously when asked about our finances? But this time I heard the Holy Spirit say, "You have NO IDEA how true that is!" He went on to say, "There are wealthy men around the world who command finances they've never seen. I am about to teach my sons and daughters to command wealth and see financial miracles. Those who are only wealthy in this world's wealth do not have the resources of those who are wealthy with the wealth of heaven. Begin to excercise your faith to command wealth; look for things to be accomplished without the money passing through your hands. See if the windows of heaven are not open to you." WOW!

As I meditated on these words, The Lord began to show me something in the sermon on the mount.

In Mat. 6:5-6 it says, “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."

The Lord started talking to me about the secret place. The secret place is that place of communion with God. I could see the picture in my spirit: You go into your room and shut the door, and then you come to the door of heaven in praise and prayer. You go through that door into the secret place, where you have communion with God (the creator and sustainer of all things.) Jesus says later, in verses 19 & 20, do not lay up treasures on earth but in heaven. This is what we are doing as we spend time in the secret place. Then the Lord told me, "This is not just to have some reward in heaven way off in the future. This is to be able to command the wealth of heaven and earth." I had always thought that this would give us points in heaven but now I understand that it is even talking about the supply of material things on earth! He even talks about this later in his discourse Mat. 6: 25-33, ending with the phrase, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." God wants us to have everything we need and even promises to give us the desires of our heart, but he wants us to have these things through his means of supply; living by every Word that comes from His mouth! Let that sink in! (The literal translation of "Selah".)

There is a lot more to think on concerning the secret place. Psalm 91 gives a promise of safety and deliverance for those who dwell in the secret place. God is calling you to come into that Secret Place. How? Go into your room, shut the door and just seek, knock, ask!
