Orphanage and children's outreach in Peru

Orphans-Huanuco-dunamis-arcWe have an orphanage of (formerly-abused) children in Huanuco, Peru and support them on a monthly basis. It gives us satisfaction to know they are well-fed and enjoy the best education in our private school there.

We are in the process of being accredited to open our own university, as well, with courses to train the students in various professions. Pastor Edgar Iturri and his wife, Doris, are not only pastors of the church in Huanuco, but are directors of the school & university, of the orphanage, and of a weekly program, called Saving a Generation, that feeds and teaches hundreds of children in the poverty-stricken areas.

Network of churches in Peru

Peru-Leaders-dunamis-arc

Our largest network of churches is in Peru, spreading out over the jungle region, the desert coast, and the mountain region. Pastor Edgar and Doris Iturri oversee the network under our care. In Pucallpa, a large jungle city, we have a church that houses and trains the handicapped. They are rescued from the streets where they are treated as cast-offs of society, and are taught to become productive citizens. They attend our private school there, and are trained in professions such as shoe-making or tailoring so they can make a living. At church they are taught to play instruments that are adjusted for the handicapped, and they plant churches up and down the rivers. Pastor Victor Izquierdo, himself handicapped by polio, is well-respected by pastors of the city.

Network of churches in Brazil

Our next largest network is in Brazil. Brazilian-pastors-dunamis-arcPastor Josuel and Nice Melo do a wonderful job of overseeing the network under our care. The churches are making an impact in such areas as music, government, and business. Pastor Josuel and his worship team have been asked by two mayors to perform yearly concerts in two cities. It's a wonderful opportunity to impact the society for Jesus. It gives us much joy that a couple from Brazil will be going as missionaries to Peru to help work with at-risk children of the streets and train them to professionally play soccer. This will save them from a life of drugs and gangs with the Saving a Generation project.

Network churches worldwide

We now oversee a network of churches in several nations. In Paris, France, Vangie and Jean Baichere are pastoring a church and feeding the poor of the city every week, telling them about Jesus' love. (Vangie went to Paris years ago from our church here in Las Vegas). In Japan, we have planted a Spanish church, and minister to Spanish-, Brazilian-, and Japanese-speaking people. We have several churches in Mexico we impact. There are a growing number of churches and ministries throughout the United States that are looking to us for oversight.

Dunamis Apostolic Resource Center (ARC)

At home in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, we have a teaching, healing, and prophetic training center called Dunamis (Apostolic Resource Center), and have sent missionaries to seven nations of the world. We also have a steady stream of people coming from other nations for short-term training. Recently, a young German couple came for training, and then went home and eagerly planted a church, adding ideas they had learned at Dunamis!

Training materials

We send our teachings CDs, DVDs, and books, without charge, to whomever requests it from around the world. We currently have CDs in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Russian. All material can be downloaded for free from our website. It is our desire that all God's people be trained to heal the sick, give prophetic words, hear God's voice for every need of life, and to bring people to a closer walk with Jesus through catching the initiatives of heaven.

Strategic Prayer Network

Lynnie Walker leads prayer for the state of Nevada with the Strategic Prayer Network. She has 6 rotating leaders who listen for the Lord's direction in prayer before their time to lead. We have prayed at various sites, including from mountain-tops overlooking Las Vegas and other cities. In 1999, we felt to "stake" the whole state of Nevada for Jesus, all at the same time. Several teams drove to all the entryways into the state and hammered pieces of wood with scripture written on it. The weather changed instantly and a great wind blew in. We believe it was a sign of change in destiny for Las Vegas, Reno, and cities throughout Nevada! Strategic Prayer Network is open to all who would like to participate in Holy Spirit-led praying. They meet the last Saturday of every month at Dunamis, from 10am- noon.
